Friday, January 27th, Atlas Road Crew, the best thing to come out of South Carolina since Frogmore stew is coming to Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory. Atlas Road Crew or ARC as they are affectionately known by fans, will play their own distinct flavor of Southern rock that always goes down smooth.
The boys from South Cackalacky are up on the North side of the Mason Dixon line as part of their winter 2017 tour tearing up venues up and down the East coast. Atlas Road Crew’s performance at the Knitting Factory promises to be a night to remember because the band is known for pulling out all the stops and delivering stellar live performances, further bolstered by a fantastic pair of studio albums. ARC’s debut self titled album was released in 2012 and quickly followed up with Halfway to Hopkins in 2015, if you don’t own these albums I highly recommend getting your hands on them! You will not regret it.
Atlas Road Crew will be joined by Animal Reporters, a soulful, psychedelic jam band based out of Brooklyn. The band has been making huge waves throughout the community, as their eclectic jams and luscious harmonies inundate the listener’s senses. Be sure to show up on time so you can catch one of the biggest up-and-comers in the scene!
Unless it is unavoidable- I am talking extenuating circumstances such as emergency gallbladder surgery or pending charges for capital murder, then there is no excuse not to be at the Knitting Factory on Friday, January 27. Grab a nosh, bundle up against the frigid, diabolical cold of the New York winter and hit the streets of Brooklyn! Let the music guide you, or take advantage of a map or some form of directions. The logistics are your problem not mine, by now you should all know where to be.
