Somewhere within the deepest, darkest bowels of Brooklyn this Friday, tropical house dynamo Bakermat will be throwing a secret warehouse party! You might be asking yourself at this very moment “Where could it be?” well it could be anywhere as long as it’s in Brooklyn!
The certifiably insane Dutchman known as Bakermat will bring his minimalist soulful style of deep house to the borough of Brooklyn. Currently gallivanting around the planet on a tour very appropriately dubbed “The Circus,” Bakermat has earned a name for himself by showcasing live instruments such as flutes and saxophones, which give his style a memorable jazzy element. With a penchant for performing while dressed up like a youthful Cap’n Crunch, the flamboyantly dressed artist continues stunning audiences and listeners with innovative new releases. For two of his latest releases “Ballade” and “Gone,” Bakermat returned to the studio with the illustrious Marie Plassard, featuring her vocals as part of an ongoing minimalist experimentation of house music. This Friday’s show promises to be one for the history books for whomever is lucky enough to find out its secret location. Fortunately, anyone who purchases a ticket through event host MeanRed will be privy to the location which is set to be revealed shortly before the event begins. Make sure to put on your big boy pants and notify your next of kin, because this one is bound to get absolutely filthy.
